April 2011: QF Version 1.1

• Slight UI and UX design updates
• Added bars to statistics tab
• Added icons to top tabs

Hooray for bars! The previous statistics tab was just numbers. Adding bars provides a better UI (user interface) that greatly improves the UX (user experience), something I’m passionate about. Bars allow the user to quickly have an overview of the statistic spread for each question.

Also, I decided to add icons to the tabs as I believe that icons help to provide for a better UX. Pictures, icons, help users recognize things and navigate around faster, PLUS it ‘colors’ up the dashboard in a very subtle manner without taking away too much focus from the user doing his work. Also, it helps separate the tabs in a more distinct manner.

The cons however, is that it requires slightly more loading. But it’s very slight.
